About the Film and Creators
Greg Gunn and Reza Rasoli love cartoons and have worked together since 2006 making fun, animated projects. They also both used to be in really awesome bands (see: emo). Future! Taco! Meow! is a fusion of their admiration for animation and music. The narrative draws upon their musical experience in early 2000’s Los Angeles, trying to “make it.”
The short was initially commissioned in 2014 by Disney XD as part of their animated shorts program.
